If you use bigger sections to braid, that will also help. We did the braid rather tight, and so it almost resembled a plain waterfall twist, but by pulling on the edges and pancaking it a bit, you were able to see the braid a bit more. Step 13 – If desired, gently pull on edges of the braid to pancake it a bit so the braid can be seen a bit more We braided until we reached the middle of the back of the head & secured it with a clear elastic.
